Gold improves $6 over night and I hear Brent, Tom, Arthur, Oliver and Hudson take off together for a last minute trip to Japan. Something sounds a little fishy to me. Rub a dub-dub - 5 men took the tub!
Sources suggest the trip may have been financed by a new Maple Leaf Coin similar in size.

1M gold tub stolen from hotel in Japan
Wed May 30, 4:20 AM ET

TOKYO - A glittering bathtub made of gold worth nearly $1 million has been stolen from a resort hotel, an official said Wednesday.

A worker at Kominato Hotel Mikazuki in Kamogawa, south of Tokyo, notified police that the fancy tub was missing from the hotel's guest bathroom on the 10th floor, according to a local police official who only gave his surname, Ogawa.

The round tub, worth $987,000, is made of 18-karat gold and weighs 176 pounds.

The tub, flanked by two crane statues, has been a main feature of the hotel's shared bathroom. Visitors can take a dip in the tub, but it is only available a few hours a day "for security reasons," the hotel's Web site said. Someone apparently cut the chain attached to the door of a small section of the bathroom where the bathtub was placed, but not riveted, and made off with the tub, Ogawa said.

"We have no witness information and there are no video cameras," he said. "We have no idea who took it," the official said.

I unequivocally deny any involvement in this caper.  :-X

I'm a shower not a bathtub kind of guy.  :-[

I think it's a case of "sour grapes" - that David Dingbat guy stole the tub and he's gonna try to frame someone at the RCM for stealing it to fill an order for their $1 million gold coin.

Or maybe Auric Goldfinger had it stolen so that he could replace his solid gold Rolls Royce that was wrecked by James Bond  ::)

Anybody want sushi? I never realized how many people are in Tokyo. I knew Arthur was tall already, but here he looks like a skyscraper! (at least compared to the general population)
