Hello gecko5, and Welcome to the site.

It might have a premium. This is in the range of AOH 9.84 - 9.996 replacement notes. Keep this note in perfect condition, and don't touch it if you don't have to.

This is know as a replacement note, and is inserted by the printing company to replace and damaged note, etc.

I have a few Q's for you:
How was it found?
What prefix was it found in?
What were the notes in front and behind the note?
What is the front and back plate # on the the AOH and also the notes infront and behind it?

Cheers

Interesting stuff!!!! I will have to get myself a guide...  I am more into Cdn Coins and specifically cents and dollars, however i am always scanning for oddities...

To answer your questions:

How was it found?
- I received it of all places at Tim Horton's! Bought a coffee with a $20.  Received 3 of these in change.  They were crisp without a wrinkle and so i assume they must have came from a brand new pack.
What prefix was it found in?
- Sorry, i do not know what you mean by this question...  Can you provide more details?
What were the notes in front and behind the note?
- The other two i received were AOH 9933314 / AOH9933313.
What is the front and back plate # on the the AOH and also the notes infront and behind it?
- Sorry all, i am very new to paper money (lol).  I am guessing that you are referring to the small number on the front bottom left (In my case it is 68) and on the back centre far right (In my case it is a 63).

I hope this provides more insight!!!!

Cheers,

All three of your notes would be fall in to the replacement note range.

A prefix is the letters in the serial number. AOH is the prefix. Why I asked, with replacement notes, they are inserted into another prefix, lets say APA, you would find the AOH replacing the missing notes. It is nice to know what range of notes they were found in.

If I were you I would hold onto the notes. There is not a huge premium on the notes, but over time who knows.

Cheers
