Friends:     I  have  been  unable to locate images of the Bank of Hamilton  1904 and  1909  $50  and  $100  notes.  Were  these  notes  issued  into  circulation???
Any of you  have any  of  these  notes  in  your  collections??   Thanks,
                                                                                      Bernard

These 1904 denomination are all institutionalized. I checked the currency museum and they do not have any photos of issued notes. Not to sound pesimistic but the chance of a collector having one of these is slim to none.

The 1909 $50 and $100 are known in grades from Good to VF. Yet again there are no picture of these in the museum.

The last 1909 $50 I have seen was on eBay a couple years back. I beleive it was owned by the Monetaryman. He usualy keeps all his scans but rarely visits this site.

As  I understand  your replies,  the  1909  $50's  and  $100's  did  circulate  but  none  is  available in private hands and no images are available,  neither  of  specimen notes nor of circulated notes,  and  the  1914  $50'a and $100's also circulated  and  a  few  notes  are  known  in  private  hands  but the only images available are of specimen notes.
My sincere thanks to all three of you.    Bernard

Dear Bernard

Your interpratation is correct. Your next best bet would be to check sites such as Heritage Auctions. They carry an extensive photo gallery of all their past auctions. Many rare notes have gone through their hands
