If someone was going to post a picture and it was to large how would you downsize it?

I would suggest posting images via imageshack.us. It stores them on their site and provides you with automatic thumbnail images and code that you can copy/paste directly onto your post here. Storage is permanent and the size limits are far beyond what the forum itself imposes.

My trading post thread is a prime example.

And if you still want to resize a photo, I would recommend an image editing program such as Adobe Photoshop.

For resizing an image I found that Windows paint works very well (for a simple program)

Just open the program and from "Image" menu go to Strech/Skew and place a smaller value for the Horizontal and Vertical field.

I am using IMAGESHACK but now that i have uploaded the pictures how do i put them on this site?
