I have a $1 centennial of Canadian Confederation note in 'perfect' condition. It was given to me 40 years ago on my wedding day. It was given in perfect straight from the mint condition and has been kept in an album, flat and without blemish or creases ever since.
If the serial number reads 1867-1967 its worth about 3 bucks. If you really kept it flat and pressed it in a book or album maybe less
Pressing notes is a NO NO.
By the way, I hope this wasn't the only gift the person gave you on your wedding day...
If you got married in 1967 then keep it as a keepsakes, probably not worth pulling out of the album.
