Many thanks for your reply I was hoping that due to it being a replacement note that would help the value. I have some other great near misses I will post some day. LOL Steiner
In my opinion, if it wasn't a replacement note it wouldn't be very interesting at all, at least not in well circulated condition. If it was in Unc someone might pay $300-$500 or so. If it was a
solid 7's
non-replacement note in Unc it would be worth about $700 or so.
About 3,280,000 *B/B Asterisk notes were issued so some solid serial numbers were certainly issued, i.e., *B/B 1,111,111, and *B/B 2,222,222. If one of these ever came up in Unc they would likely sell for $2,000 or more, but that's only a guess. Since a solid 7's *B/B Asterisk note was never issued then your note has the maximum number of 7's possible and someone might buy it as a "lucky note". I would suggest a value of $150-$200 in the given condition but that's a wild guess on my part. The only real way to find out what your note is worth is to auction it, either on this Forum, on eBay or elsewhere. Good luck!
