Hi Hamner.

I am the seller of these notes and I have ended the auction early for the reason here:
"The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing."

Is this a good price?Well that's a matter of opinion,of course.I have a belief these will PMG 66 but there are no guarentees.

If you noticed,I put a Best Offer in the listing to attract what the investment/collecting community felt value comes in at.

If you wish to discuss this further please feel free to e-mail me at twoinvallarta@gmail.com

According to the Charlton catalogue a Gem Unc has to be perfectly centered, or virtually so, whereas the notes in the scan seem to have rather narrow and uneven margins (maybe it was a problem with the scanner?). I mention this because I offered several slightly off-centre Devil's Face notes at the CNA Convention and my knuckles were rapped because I called them Gem Uncs instead of Choice Uncs.

" Buy the very best notes that you can afford and keep them for at least 10 years. " (Richard D. Lockwood, private communication, 1978).

Are these the notes that were at the CNA?

Yes.Why?
I'd think you'd know that because it is hard to believe that was just a lucky guess! ;D
So what's the point?

That would be great! It will probably come to you.I remember when my sons were 14-15 yrs old.If it had to do with money, minds like steel traps!
Because this is such a rare set(low number) not too many places you would have to narrow down I would imagine. It would stick out in ones mind that's for sure. And since you have been collecting such a short time I trust the few places this set could have resided,it is only a matter of  days! lol  ;)
Good Luck to us both! ;D
