Maybe I am blind?  Or is this something new on the BOC website?

I came across a page where you can search the BOC Museum contents (as they do not have it all on display).

I never noticed this before but they seem to have quite a few Scans of notes in the collection.

I did a search for 1937 $2 notes and voila..

I was trying to see if the BOC has any Low Serial Osborne-Towers $2 notes.

They do..

They have A/B Prefix 3 through 9.  11-14 and 16.   I guess these did keep some.

Kinda of nice to be able to "search" what the BOC has in the museum vault.

Ah yes, isn’t technology grand. This site has been up and running for quite a number of years now. I t is a great source of information and for looking at notes that you might never get to see in person.

Kudos to the BoC currency museum for there efforts

I think its nice to be able to see scans of notes I will never own.. lol.

It seems they have approx 11,000 of the 100,000 items in the collection in the database.

They even have pictures of original Printing plates etc.

Nifty.

I didn't know they archive this stuff as well!!!  Is there something that I am missing?  I never realized that loyalty reward cards were consider part of the "National Currency Collection".

Every fellow collector better start keeping those credit card application forms... because if the Bank of Canada has it in its' collection, you should have it in your collection too!

Yes they have spent loads of time and effort developing such a informative web site. I know I can personally spend hours looking around there  so called on line museum, and still learn something new every time I check back.  I have to wipe the drool of my laptop after visiting there site!!

I hope I will be able to visit it in person someday. Has any of you other members been there?

That is the expiration date of that credit card.

How does one go about getting a backstage pass?    

Ask for one. Yes, it's really that easy!

Just choose your words and actions carefully... the phrase "show me all your money" while holding a gun or other weapon is generally discouraged.
