1954 $5 "Devil's Head" Note Signed Coyne Towers. (C/C Prefix)

I have a 1954 $5 "Devil's Head" Note signed Coyne and Towers with the prefix C/C. In original C.Unc+ condition. Does anyone think that there should be a premium added to this note? I have watched 3 auction on ebay that were live and I have not seen one of these notes.

I would think you could get a good price for your note. If however the note is not currently for sale do not preoccupy yourself with the possible price you can realize. A lot can change between now and the time you decide to sell. "Premiums" do not always carry over from year to year so for now stick to the book value.

Enjoy your notes for what they are not for what their worth.

I was just wondering because I have not seen one of these notes at auction. This note is currently not for sale but so far it is the center piece of my collection.

The Charlton catalogue assigns a modest premium of about 20% to the C/C prefix.  The numbers printed were as follows: A/C (10 million), B/C (10 million) and C/C (7.6 million), so the C/C prefix is not that scarce. As BWJM mentioned, the Charlton catalogue contains ALL of the answers to the 1971 Plymouth fan's questions!

There is no need for a premium on Coyne-Towers C/C as they are already priced 15% higher than other prefixes. Thats the premium.
