I have inherited many uncirculated  1, 2 5, 10 dollar bills.

They vary in years but many 2$ bills are from 1954, about 100 1$ bills from 1954.  Also many 5 & 10 dollar bills.   They are in perfect condition and never been used.  How do I find out the value of these bills.

They have never been folded or used and I don't want to just take them to the bank.

Hoping someone can help me.  Thanks

If you post a list of Serial Numbers and Signatures and year etc I am sure we can help.

If you want to send me a list of the above I can give you a estimate.

I sent you a PM with my e-mail.

Inform yourself...buy a Charlton Canadian Government Paper Money  Catalogue from Chapters or any book store...Everyone here would "LOVE" to see what you have available ..assuming you would want to sell the notes..If you can post the prefix's ,serial numbers and signatures of the notes ..plus the condition then at least you can get a ball park figure...the best way is to scan both sides of the notes and post them here ...I am sure you will get lot's of interest....drool drool .... ;D

I'm just going to say right off the bat that the 1986 $2s are worthless, essentially. The 1954 $1 and $2 and 1972 $2 are worth about $10 each, off the top of my head.

If any of the notes have an asterisk (star *), it denotes a replacement and could be worth upwards of hundreds or even thousands of dollars, and for notes of the 1986-1991 series with the birds on the back, or the later 1970's series with three prefix letters, if the serial number prefix has an "X" in it, it denotes a replacement, or even rarer, a test note and in new condition, depending on the rarity of the note, could be worth hundreds, or in a few rare cases, thousands of dollars. Now for the 1979 series with the 11 numbers on the back, replacements are denoted with the following prefixes, which are the first 4 numbers in the serial number:
$5, 3100, 3300 for rare test notes,
$20 5100, 5160.

I hope you managed to absorb all that. If you need clarification, feel free to reply.

Lucky @$$. I've only been able to find one solitary Carney so far.
