C/I prefix 1954 uncirculated $1

Hello all.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I am a private coin dealer, but have run into some bills over the past few years and decided to part with a few of them.  I am very conversant on Canadian and US coinage, but notes are not my strong suit.

I have found a few interesting items that I probably will be asking about over the next few days.

The first one I want to ask about is the attached note.

Would this be considered a BC-37dA or just a BC-37d?  I am still trying to figure out the Charlton coding for bills.

It is a BC-37d about $9.00 in UNC
the other would have an asterisk infront of the prefix  *C/I meaning a replacement
FRIEDSQUID

Unfortunately, that is what I thought.

I got all excited when I saw the c/i prefix called out, as the bill is perfect and the guide showed some huge values for that prefix.

Welcome to the forum, This would be BC-37d. The BC-37dA is the note that has the asterisk in the serial number. The capital letter A in the catalogue numbers signifies a replacement note.
