Nobody suggested you were a "crackhead with a scam." There was one person mentioning cocaine-laced banknotes, but that was in reference to
this thread, not your post. As with any newly discovered difference in the appearance of a banknote (I chose my words carefully there), it has to be seen before it can be positively identified as being an error, a printing variety, dirt, pen ink, vandalism, etc.
Scanning a note will not damage it (unless you mishandle it of course, but the act of scanning alone will not cause damage).
I am interested in seeing the scan once you can get it.
