Some 2001 and 2002 $5 and $10 notes may not be accepted.  It is not because the SNDB thinks the notes are fake or anything like that... It's due to not having sufficient information for some of those older notes to be able to write a basic FPN/BPN verification procedure.

For older notes not accepted by the SNDB, please email your information to SNDB@cdnpapermoney.com.  Thank you!

ANU is a prefix used only for notes from Lasting Impressions collector sets.

Interesting. Mine isn't in a set, someone must have removed it. Is it still worth while to send in the serial number?

That is a good question.  Currently, prefix ANU is not included on the high-low table since it is not a circulation issue.  However, the SNDB keeps reports on all prefixes ANA-ANZ (only researchers have access to reports, in case anyone asks).  Clearly, that's a bit of an oversight on our part since most of those prefixes belong to the bird series.  I can't really say if there is any value to data for Lasting Impressions notes.  Since we don't even know the position number layout, I'm leaning toward "no".

I have an ANU note picked from circulation, too (ANU 6975615 95/72).  I don't doubt many sets were broken up and spent by recipients of these sets.

I checked the High-Low tables and your note appears as the only GJA note entered to date.  Problem solved.
