Okay thanks, I hadn't noticed that. Denom letters used on 2-letter prefix 1973 $1's are A, F, G, I, L, M, N, O, and P. Did each printer "own" specific denom letters?
Page 238 of my 2002 Charlton confirms that the style of type in the serial numbers differentiates the printers, but it doesnt elaborate.
