Nope, not dis one mon. My first $20 brick is EZS but it's mixed up so I'll list my results on da EZS High/Low. No Radars like 8666668, no Repeaters, no Inserts, and no errors but a handful of notes 8666066 and 8666006 so they'll go to Raven. Da Hunt has already started, I'm expecting another $20 brick next week.

Yes, welcome to the world of mixed bricks.

We had this issue with 2002 $5 Notes after HOH. Sometimes you would not get any Radars and once in awhile there would be 6 of them in 1 brick.  ???

Documenting these bricks is also VERY time consuming.  ;)

Guys,
I dont collect bills. However, I know this bill has been out for a few months. I got one during Hockey season.  I was going to sell it to the coin dealer in Ottawa but I never made it in.

I just received a phone call from my local coin/banknote dealer. One of these notes just walked in his front door. I have not seen the note, or any of them for that matter. I am forwarding his question to the forum: What are these notes worth??

I was told the owner of the note has had it in his possession for 6 months or so.

Right now we only know the serial # of the note in the news, (if you have a serial please do post it). We cannot determine if this is a sheet error, or multiple sheet error. If a price is established, then this would have to reflect an Unc note, and then the condition of the note would determine the sale value of the note for sale.

It is important to realize that this error note has had allot of attention, and thus creating a false market demand. What I mean, people might be thinking it is worth more then it really is, and yes I know, it is worth the price someone will pay for it, but would the seller pay you that amount for the same item. The market can temporally over-inflate the price creating a false value for the note, and then crashing. This is the case of jumping on the bandwagon for the hot stock.

So lets make-up a price, $20 x 1000%(great ROI) = $220 for UNC

For one thing, and this is my option, this is not the Holy Grail of bank notes as stated in the news story. I am sure we can all think of a rarer note.

That's my two cents

I agree with you 100% J.  There are a lot more interesting notes that one could buy for what some people THINK ??? this note is actually worth.

Sorry, but I do not have the serial number of the note in question. I was told it was the same as the one on tv with the exception of one number.

I agree, this is not that spectacular an error.
