I recently purchased a copy of the newly published catalogue "Paper Money of Ireland" by Bob Blake & Jonathan Callaway published by Pam West in the UK in 2009 (1st edition). It contains 496 pages and covers all paper money issues of both the Republic of Ireland (Eire) and Northern Ireland from circa 1700 to the present day. This catalogue is truly breathtaking in its scope, its depth and its detail and it covers every note known to have been issued since circa 1700. It includes private bankers, tradesmen (merchants), joint stock banks and government issues as well as the beautiful Irish Republican "Fenian" Bonds. The catalogue is profusely illustrated in colour throughout and it contains details of the numbers of notes printed and their current valuations.

This catalogue is available from the publisher Pam West for £40.00 plus shipping. It's a heavy book (over one kilo) so shipping is not insignificant. However, for anyone at all interested in Irish paper money this catalogue will be of inestimable value.
