Bank of Canada to issue upgraded $5 bank note
OTTAWA—The Bank of Canada will officially put into circulation Canada's upgraded $5 bank note on Wednesday, 15 November 2006.
On that date, the Bank of Canada will also be holding several events across the country. Members of the media and individual Canadians who wish to familiarize themselves with the upgraded $5 bank note and its enhanced security features can do so at one of the following locations.
